Solar fan provides problem-free ventilation of boats, whether the yacht is in motion or not, and provides a simple solution in places where the use of a power supply would be too complicated or too expensive. Since no wiring is required, solar fans are easy to install.
Solar fans are powered by daylight and sunlight, and then provide movement in the air when it is most needed.
SMART SOLAR fans are 215 mm wide, with a height of 35 mm above the surface after installation. All models fit into a round opening with a maximum diameter of 125 mm and can be switched off manually. The fans should be installed in a sunny location, as the performance depends on the light levels available during the day. These fan models deliver up to 25m³ per hour.
The 300 series is additionally equipped with a NiMH battery (micro-cell / AAA) which is charged during the day.
By pressing the "Boost" button in the evening, the fan can be powered for about 10 minutes by the battery . The fan switches off automatically after this periode of time.
