About us

 
Lindemann is an importer and major stockist for numerous well-known brands and supplies water sport and industrial customers all over europe. Our product range includes equipment from A to Z for Sailing hardware, yacht fittings, chandlery, wire ropes, yacht ropes, as well as special components for architectural ropes and industrial purposes. Our customers are water sport shops, boat- and shipyards, sail makers, saddlers, riggers, rope manufacturers and specialised industrial companies.
 
For all our enthusiastic water sport customers we launch an annual issue of our no. 1 Lindemann catalogue, available right before the Duesseldorf boat show opens his doors. Currently the catalogue has reached page 700 showing approximately 12.000 articles complete with measures, photos and product information. Our products are available all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland at known yacht equipment chandlery.

The company
Founded in 1931 by Robert Lindemann, the company has now been family-owned for over 90 years.
For 40 years, the sons of the company founder, Claus and Volker, and for 30 years Jan Lindemann, managed the business.
Continuity is still being maintained in the fourth generation. Franz Lindemann has been a personally liable partner since 2023.
In 2023, Robert Lindemann employed over 50 people. In addition, there is an active sales force throughout the German-speaking region.
