boomkicker - BOOMSTRUT
BARTON BOOM STRUT, lightweight and low profile design. Two coated fiberglass spring rods in white or in black provide the force to support the boom. Pulling the boom down causes the boomkicker to flex upward, releasing straightens the boomkicker lifting the boom. For easy installation and rigging, boomkickers mount independently inside the vang, out of the way.

BOOMKICKER Set contains:
1) Distance pin to pin with straight spring rod
2) maximum weight it can support measured at the end of the boom with the sail flaked.
It´s recommended that the vang and Boomstrut make an angle of between 30 and 40° with the boom.
Do not shorten the total length of the rod by more than 15 cm!
